Actually this picture was a complete accident.
I got bored and wanted to see what it would look like if I fused two characters together. So instead of making a design where I mixed things up like a salad for fankits I baked a cake. That simile probably makes more sense to me than it does to you, but whatever.
So after making the design I drew this! I played with shading and lighting a little and experimented with other brushes in Sai. It's a noticeable change in my opinion but I love how it turned out.
I also now understand why people like orange and yellow so much. Seriously those colors are just. I don't know. Delicious to the eye? These food analogies really don't make much sense do they?
This character is my child though I haven't decided if they're canon yet. Ooo maybe I can just exclude them from the parents' universe and use them to roleplay? (;v; ) I don't know! Still considering genders even (though fluid or ag is seeming to make sense right now). Pretty much all I'm sure about is that the fighting style is very controlled and analytical and s/he can put on a brave face around others but when s/he's alone everything is just a bundle of insecurities and emotions because no one seems to accept him/her not matter how hard s/he tries.
Also A+ to everyone who recognizes what designs this sweet child is born of. Easy A. Not that hard.
